About SSC Phase 10 Recruitment:-

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has recently announced about the recruitment of Phase X Junior Engineer & Various Other Posts. All Eligible candidates filled their application form for these posts as per their choice. Online Application has been started from date 12.05.2022 to 13.06.2022. More details about the recruitment are given below.

SSC Phase X Exam Date:-

All the eligible candidates who had filled their application form now they know the exam syllabus. The examination will be of written objective type (CBT) type which will be held from 01 – 05 August 2022 (tentatively). More details about the exam pattern are given below.

A selection process consisting of various stages like written test, physical test and personality test etc. So, they must have proper knowledge of the tests they will have to face in each of the different stages. Day by day more and more competition is increasing, it has become challenging as hard nut to crack it. Now, here we are providing the prescribed latest scheme of SSC Junior Engineer Phase IX Syllabus and entire selection process, which can help the candidates pursuing this challenge.

  • The exam will be of three different CBT MCQ types.
  • The exam will be conducted 100 questions with 02 marks for each question.
  • The question paper will be based on the minimum educational qualification of Matriculation, Higher Secondary and Graduation and above levels.
  • exam time duration 01 Hour (60 Minutes).
  • There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks For each wrong answer.

Comment:- To qualify the computer based test, candidates need to obtain minimum marks as per details given below – UR : 35% OBC : 30% & Other Categories : 25%.

About SSC Phase X Exam Syllabus:-

Common sense: It will consist of non-verbal type questions. The test will include questions on similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminatory observation, relation concept, figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc. The test will include questions designed to test the candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relations, arithmetic calculations and other analytical tasks.

general awareness: The questions will be designed to test the general awareness about the environment and its application in the society. The questions will also be designed to test knowledge of contemporary events and experience in such matters of everyday observation and their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions related to India and its neighboring countries, especially questions related to sports, history, culture, geography, economic scenario, general politics including Indian Constitution and scientific research etc. These queries will be such that they do not require any special requirements. study of any discipline.

Quantitative Aptitude: This paper covers Number System, Calculation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and Relationship between Numbers, Fundamental Arithmetic Operations, Percentages, Ratios and Proportions, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discounts, Use of Tables and Graphs, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work etc.

English language: The candidate’s understanding of the basics of English language, his vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and their correct usage etc., his writing ability will be tested.

10+2 (Higher Secondary) Level

General Intelligence: IT will consist of questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. The test will include questions on Semantic Analogy, Symbolic Operations, Symbolic/Number Analogy, Trends, Figure Analogy, Space Orientation, Semantic Classification, Venn Diagram, Symbolic/Number Classification, Drawing Inference, Figure Classification, Punch Hole/Pattern – Folding and Unfolding . , Semantic Series, Figure Pattern – Folding and Completion, Number Series, Embedded Figures, Figure Series, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Emotional Intelligence, Word Building, Social Intelligence, Coding and De-coding, Other Sub-topics, if any Numerical Operation .

Geometry: Familiar with elementary geometric figures and facts: Triangle and its different types of centres, Congruence and similarity of triangles, Circle and its chords, Tangents, Angles subtended by chords of a circle, Common tangents of two or more circles. Mensuration: Triangle, Quadrilateral, Regular Polygon, Circle, Right Prism, Right Circular Cone, Right Circular Cylinder, Sphere, Hemisphere, Rectangular Parallelogram, Triangle or Square Regular Right Pyramid with Base Trigonometry: Trigonometry, Trigonometric Ratios, Complementary Angles, Elevation and distance (simple problems only) standard identities etc. Statistical charts: use of tables and graphs, histograms, frequency polygons, bar-diagrams, pie-charts.

English language: Spot the error, Fill in the blanks, Synonyms/Synonyms, Antonyms, Detection of spelled/misspelled words, Idioms and phrases, One-word substitution, Sentence correction, Active/passive voice of verbs, Direct/Indirect narration Conversion into, Shuffle parts of a sentence, Shuffle of sentences in a passage, Close passage, Comprehension passage.

Bachelor’s level and above

Common sense: It will include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type.
