South Western Railway Scout & Guide Quota 2022: Applications are invited in the prescribed format from eligible Indian candidates for recruitment of 03 posts in Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Hubli (Hubli) Level-2 & 08 (Eight) in South Western Railway (SWR) does. posts in Level-1 of the Railway Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016 against Scouts and Guides Quota for the year 2022-23. The last date for receipt of applications is 19 December 2022.

Number of Vacancies
03 (02 posts on South Western Railway and 01 post for Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka)
08 (02 posts each for Hubli, Bengaluru & Mysore Divisions and Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahank)
✔️ For Level-2: 18 to 30 years as on 1st January 2023.
✔️ For Level-1: 18 to 33 years as on 1st January 2023.
✔️ Age Relaxation – 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC & others as per Govt of India rules.
level 2: Passed 12th (+2 Stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate. 50% marks are not insisted upon in case of SC/ ST/ Ex. Servicemen/ Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates. 50% marks are also not insisted upon in case of candidates having qualification above the minimum prescribed qualification required. Educational Qualification Must be from recognized Institutions (OR) Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship / ITI approved by NCVT / SCVT with not less than 50% marks in aggregate. 50% marks are not insisted upon in case of SC/ ST/ Ex. Servicemen/ Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates. 50% marks are also not insisted upon in case of candidates having qualification above the minimum prescribed qualification required. Educational qualification should be from recognized institutes.
Level 1: Candidates should have 10th pass or ITI or equivalent qualification. Candidates appearing and/or awaiting results of 10th or ITI or equivalent final examinations on the date of application are not eligible to apply. Educational qualification should be from recognized institutes.
Scout and Guide Qualification: The following qualifications will be applicable for the recruitment of Scouts and Guides to the posts of Level-2 and Level-1.
(a) a President Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger or Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any section;
(b) Should have been an active member of a Scout organization for the last 5 years. ‘certificate of activation’; And
(c) Should have participated in two events at National level or All India Railway level and two events at State level.
✔️ Written Test (60 Marks)
✔️ Marks on Certificate (40 Marks)
✔️ ₹ 500/- for General and OBC category candidates
✔️ ₹ 250/- for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen/Persons with Disabilities (PWD), women, minorities and economically backward classes.
✔️ Examination fee should be paid in the form of Indian Postal Order (IPO) only from any post office drawn in favor of Asstt. Payable at Personnel Officer/Traffic, South Western Railway, Hubli, Hubli.
