About Recruitment and Notification No. 30C/SSSC/PB/2022:
Chandigarh High Court of Punjab and Haryana is going to conduct a competitive written examination for the recruitment to the posts of Clerk. A huge number of interested candidates filled there online application form. The online application form submission process is start from date 06/08/2022 and held till last date 27/08/2022. Qualified candidates will be called for written test. The exam will be conducted soon at the designated exam centers. The exam date will be announced soon on the official website of Punjab and Haryana High Court.
Nowadays the level of competition has become very high so competitive exams become very difficult. Aspirants facing the serious problem of “what to prepare” and “how to prepare” to give their best in their exam. So, here we are providing the latest syllabus and exam pattern of Clerk exam conducted by the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
Selection Process :
- Written Test (MCQs)
- computer proficiency test
Exam Pattern , The exam pattern for Clerk exam is as follows:-
1. The written test will be based on Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) pattern type.
2. The written test will consist of the following subjects:
3. There will be negative marking in the objective type question of 1/4 marks for each wrong answer.
4. There will also be a Typing/Computer Test.
Qualifying Marks: 33% in each subject but no candidate shall be considered to have passed the written examination unless he/she obtains 40% marks in the aggregate of both the subjects.
Exam Syllabus, Given below is the Exam Syllabus for Clerk Exam:-
English composition : Spot the error, Fill in the blanks, Synonyms/Synonyms, Antonyms, Detection of spelled/misspelled words, Idioms and phrases, One word substitution, Sentence correction, Active/passive voice of verbs, Conversion to direct/indirect statement , Shuffle Parts of Sentences, Shuffle of Sentences in a Passage, Close Passage, Comprehension Passage, Essay and Letter.
Common Sense : In this objective questions about the general knowledge of the surrounding society of the candidates to test the awareness of the surrounding activities. Questions related to scientific approach and thinking will also be included which is expected of an educated person. Therefore, candidates should also focus on the affairs of India and its surrounding countries. Essential knowledge like scientific progress/development, national/international awards, Indian languages, books, scripts, capital, money, sportsmen.
Computer Proficiency Test:-
There was a Computer Proficiency Test for selection to the post of Clerk. Candidates who qualify the written test will be called for this exam. Computer Proficiency Test is of qualifying nature only. This exam is compulsory but the marks of this exam will not be counted in the final merit. The Computer Proficiency Test will consist of two parts as follows:-
- Part-I:- Word Processing Test In this test the candidate has to pass a Computer Typing Test in English @ 30 wpm. must pass at the speed of
- Part II:- Candidate have to qualify Spread Sheet Test.
