About HP High Court Recruitment:

High Court of Himachal Pradesh Is Invited candidates for the recruitment of 21 posts of Clerk/ Proof Reader (Class-III) and Judgment Writer (Class-II). Many candidates filled the application form for these posts. The application form submission process was conducted online. About HP High Court Clerk Exam:

HP High Court is going to conduct the exam for the recruitment of Junior Assistant cum Typist. Soon the exam will be conducted and the exam date will be announced. The exam will be of written type. Candidates can check more details from below.

HP High Court Clerk Selection Process:

  • Written Test, Typing Test and Interview for Clerk/ Proof Reader (Class-III)
  • Proficiency Test for Judgment Writer (Class-II)

HP High Court Clerk Written Exam:

The written test will have two parts viz. Part A and Part B:

  • Part-A (Screening Test)
  • Part-B (English & Hindi)

Exam Pattern:

The exam pattern of the written exam is as follows:-

Part-A (Screening Test)

  • The exam will be of objective type.
  • It will be in English language having four choice MCQ types for each question out of which the correct answer will be given by the candidate by darkening the appropriate circle on the OMR answer sheet or any other mode suggested in the question paper. / OMR sheet.
  • Each question will carry equal weightage of one mark.
  • screening test will be two hour duration Involved 100 questions of 100 marks Overall, touching on the following topics:
Subject scar
Common Sense 70 points
basic knowledge of computer 10 points
thought 20 marks

Comment: OMR sheet containing answers to MCQ type questions will be evaluated through electronic mode and candidates who qualify the screening test will be called for written test if they come up in the ratio of 1:5, which means one vacancy. Against five advertised candidates.

Part-B (English & Hindi)

  • The written test will be of total 80 marks to be completed in 2 hours which includes the following:-
Subject scar
Essay in English – 500 words 25 marks
Essay in Hindi – 500 words 25 marks
Translation from English to Hindi (one paragraph containing at least ten sentences) 15 points
Translation from Hindi to English (one paragraph containing at least ten sentences) 15 points

Comment: The qualifying marks in the written test will be 45% out of the total marks. The candidates who qualify the written test will be called for interview provided they appear in the ratio of 1:3 i.e. three candidates against one post advertised.

HP High Court Clerk Typing Test:

Within one year of appointment, candidates will have to qualify the Typing Test in English on Computer with a speed of 30 WPM.

Provided that only 10% of mistakes will be allowed in the Typing Test.

Comment: The time of typing test will be ten (10) minutes.

HP High Court Interview:

The interview will be of 10 marks which are as follows:-

General Knowledge / General Awareness 4 digit
Experience 3 points
educational qualification 4 digit
gross 10 points

Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of written test as well as interview

Criteria for award of marks for educational qualification

any bachelor’s degree 1 point
Bachelor’s Degree with First Class 2 points
LLB / Master’s degree and above 3 points

Criteria for award of marks for experience

one year mark
two years 1 point
three years 1½ points
four years 2 points
five years 2½ points
six years and above 3 points

Comment: Experience of working in any clerical or equivalent post will be taken into account only if the experience certificate is shown in original at the time of interview and the same is mentioned in the application form submitted by the candidate.

Judgment Writer

The candidates will have to pass the prescribed case wise transcription within a period of 5 times the time allotted for Stenography Test and Dictation with a speed of 80 WPM in English Stenography and Typing Test in English with a typing speed of 40 WPM. WPM on Computer, for which a separate test will be conducted.

Provided that only 10% mistakes in transcribing Dictate Matter and Typed Matter in the Typing Test shall be allowed. In other words candidates having more than 10% mistakes in typing and typing in the typed subject in the Typing Test will be disqualified.

Provided further that the Hon’ble Chief Justice may, at any time, having regard to any administrative requirement, relax the above speed limit either in typing or in transcription or in both and also in the specified mistakes. of above.
